This Saturday (6 August) we would like to invite you to a historical walk titled “Białystok for children”. The participants will gather at 13:00, at the Museum building (7 Kilińskiego Street). Participation in the event is free of charge.

 

Krzysztof Kukliński: “During another walk through the streets of the city, we will take a look at what the city offered its youngest citizens – starting from the times of the Branicki family, through the period of the Partitions of Poland to the inter-war period. The subject will be both schooling and leisure activities”.

On Saturday, 30 July, you are all very welcome to join us for a curator’ s tour of the Military Park. At three hours, 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., the Museum guide will take you on a fascinating story about the largest sized monuments of the Bialystok Military Museum.

You will learn about the history of the T-34 tank, the ASU-85 self-propelled gun or one of the best-preserved Polish military wheelbarrows model 36, which in the condition we are presenting was last seen in Poland in September 1939. More than 40 unique monuments, each with its own story. With our guide, you will get to know it best.

Join us for a first aid workshop at the Army Museum in Bialystok!

Participants in the workshop will learn the basic principles of premedical first aid. They will learn how important it is to be safe on the water. Through exercises on a phantom, they will practise correct heart massage. At the end of the workshop, each participant will receive a brave lifeguard pin.

From next Tuesday (14 June), the Photoplasticon of Bialystok will be waiting for you at the Museum building on Kilińskiego Street. The event has been prepared in cooperation with the Koncept Kultura Foundation.

Marcin Koziński: “The machine will be filled with photographs depicting soldiers of the 42nd Infantry Regiment and the 10th Uhlan Regiment. This is one of our activities reminding us of the military units that co-created the Białystok garrison in the interwar period. The regiments have been chosen as patrons of the year 2022 in Białystok”.

The photoplasticon will be on display until 27 June.
