After last year’s break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are back with another edition of the Night of the Museums. However, due to restrictions and therefore the safety of visitors and staff, the event will take a slightly different course.

We would like to invite you to take a part in the educational project ‘Ambassadors. Movie making in the Museum”. The activity, for which recruitment begins on 5 May this year, is addressed to children from multicultural families.
We would like to invite you to a history walk. This time, on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of the German capitulation, we will focus on the situation in the city and the region in the 1940s, just after the end of hostilities.
Ladies and Gentlemen, following the decision of the Government Crisis Management Team to abolish some of the restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, as of 4 May this year (Tuesday), the Museum is open to the public.

Please be advised that on September 1-26 this year renovation works will be continued in the Museum building. Therefore, our telephone exchange will be turned off, please contact us via e-mail.
From September 1, 2020, the museum will be opened from 9.30 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday to Sunday. Technical break is scheduled from 1.30 to 2.00 P.M.
Admission to the museum is free of charge!
