The book tells about the unique experiences of a several thousand group of the young people and children of both sexes, who in 1942 managed to leave the Soviet Union together with the troops of the Polish Army under the command of General Anders. The book, richly illustrated with the archival photographs and documents, has been created with a participation of the Polish-Canadian Publishing Fund and the Army Museum in Białystok.
