The history of the Białystok Regiment of Riflemen, beginning from a formation of the unit in 1918, through a period of the fights with the Bolsheviks, ending up with the internment of the regiment in Lithuania in the summer of 1920. It also comprises information about the reconstruction of the regiment in 1921 and renaming it into the 79th Infantry Regiment.
