We invite inhabitants of the Wygoda housing estate to the Military Park this Tuesday (15 August). We have prepared exceptional activities to celebrate the Polish Armed Forces Day. Free entry!<\/p>

10.00-18.00<\/strong> \u2013 Individual tours around the heavy military equipment exhibition<\/p>

12.00-18.00<\/strong> \u2013 Entertainment for families with children, among others: the educational stall, art puzzles, XXL jigsaw puzzle. The partner of the activity is the Activity Centre \u201cIt\u2019s great here\u201d (Centrum Aktywno\u015bci \u201cFajnie Tu\u201d). Feel free to take blankets and picnic baskets and spend some time in the fresh air in the park green areas.<\/p>

14.00<\/strong> \u2013 A guided tour around the heavy military equipment exhibition<\/p>

15.00<\/strong> \u2013 Start of the historical walk around the Wygoda housing estate with guide Andrzej K\u0142opotowski. Participants meet at the Park entrance.<\/p>

Andrzej K\u0142opotowski (the author of the project \u201cOsiedlownik\u201d): \u201cThe walk will begin in the Military Park of the Army Museum, among the post-military warehouses in W\u0119glowa Street. We will go through Brazylka, visit the Evangelical-Augsburg graveyard, check how the remains of former vegetable farms of the Piekarski and Grunert families look like, and also see the old railway houses, preserved until today. Wygoda is also the old railway station \u201cBia\u0142ystok Poleski\u201d \u2013 or \u201cBia\u0142ystok Fabryczny\u201d (\u201cFactory Bia\u0142ystok\u201d) \u2013 with its tragic history. Obviously, the tour won\u2019t lack stories about the tsarist barracks of the 64th Kazanian Infantry Regiment, where \u2013 after regaining independence by Bia\u0142ystok \u2013 the 42nd Infantry Regiment was based. Traditionally, we have some surprises. There is a monument at the\u2026 scrapheap.<\/p>

16.00<\/strong> \u2013 A guided tour around the heavy military equipment exhibition<\/p>

20.00<\/strong> – Open-air cinema \u2013 film \u201cOrl\u0119ta. Grodno`39\u201d. Historical introduction will be conducted by dr \u0141ukasz Radulski.<\/p>

Polish feature movie directed by Krzysztof \u0141ukaszewicz. It features the fight of soldiers and civil inhabitants of Grodno defending their city during the Soviet invasion on Poland in September 1939. The film premiere took place on 9 September 2022.<\/p>

The activities in the Military Park are realised within the project \u201cRemembrance Education\u201d, which is co-financed from the EEA Financial Mechanism funds and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage funds, as well as from the City of Bia\u0142ystok\u2019s budget.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
