The Army Museum in Białystok together with Ksiaznica Podlaska of Lukasz Gornicki in Białystok invite to the first Culture Weekend which takes place on the Nowe Miasto housing estate. The activity is realised within the project “Remembrance Education”, which is aimed at improving the access to culture on the housing estates of Białystok located far from the city centre.
The aim of the event is to invite inhabitants of the Nowe Miasto housing estate for the active participation in culture. On Saturday, in Ksiaznica Podlaska Branch No 5, interesting workshops and meetings on the Second World War as well as the ongoing war in Ukraine are held. There is also a historical walk around the housing estate Nowe Miasto. The event is aimed at adults and teenagers aged over 13 accompanied by their parents, however, it is possible to come with younger children, who will be looked after by the museum entertainers. Sunday picnic’s offer includes educational stalls for adults and children, as well as sweet surprises! It will be a great occasion to spend time with neighbours in the fresh air!
