Results of recruitment to the Team of Educators

We have chosen the members of the Team of Educators, who will, together with us, develop new activities on Białystok housing estates. We would like to thank to everyone for sending their application forms and participation in the interviews.

The Team comprises of two educators from the Army Museum in Białystok, three representatives of Ksiaznica Podlaska – the Project Partner and five volunteers from various institutions and organisations of Białystok.

Members of the Team of Educators:

Mariusz Bieciuk
An archivist, oral history specialist in Białystok Culture Centre/ Centre of Ludwik Zamenhof. He records, works out and shares personal stories of Białystok inhabitants in Mediateka CLZ (media library) – the archives of oral history. He popularizes archives collections by implementing editorial, educational and exhibition projects. He supports local archives in the Polish Oral History Association and the Centre of Social Archiving by organising meetings and trainings.

Justyna Kołodko-Bietkał
A culture expert and a sociologist. Since 2010, she has been working in the Arsenal Gallery in Białystok. She co-creates the educational programme “Playground Arsenal”. She conducts workshops for children, teenagers and adults. Since 2015, she has been involved in making culture and art available to the disabled.

Róża Gajek
A culture expert and an enthusiastic scout. Since 2021, an educator and a person for special tasks in the team of the Army Museum in Białystok. The author of many scenarios of workshops for children and teenagers, the coordinator of cultural and educational projects. After work: the leader of the scouting movement and an English teacher.

Patryk Gawrychowski
A graduate from the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and the Artes Liberales Collegium of the University of Warsaw. In the complex of Gallery of Sleńdzińscy in Białystok, he is responsible for organising cultural and educational events, as well as cultivating heritage of old eastern borderlands of Poland. An active guide to the Podlaskie voivodeship in the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society.

Łukasz Komosa
An educator in the Centre of Multigenerational Activity, an involved History teacher in the primary school. A great history enthusiast, especially its military and ethnographic aspects. In his free time, a photographer, whose centre of interest is human.

Anna Kraśnicka
A history enthusiast, an energetic guide to the Podlaskie voivodeship. For years, she has been running the blog bialystoksubiektywnie.com, where she publishes articles and interesting facts about the city and the region. She is particularly interested in the history of Białystok Jews and widely understood multiculturalism of the Podlasie region.

Paulina Maria Reszotko
A philologist, dealing with modern literature and culture, both in her professional and private life. She works in the Department for Instructions and Methodology of Ksiaznica Podlaska of Lukasz Gornicki in Białystok. She implements cultural and entertainment projects and also conducts trainings for librarians and employees of cultural institutions. A member of the Management Board of Białystok Branch of Polish Librarians’ Association.

Dorota Szubzda
A librarian, the manager of the Education Department in Ksiaznica Podlaska of Lukasz Gornicki in Białystok. A qualified early school education teacher and pedagogy therapist of many years. She has rich experience in working with children. She co-creates numerous educational projects, including those on multiculturalism and involvement of national minorities and immigrants into cultural activities.

Marzena Wilczko
An educator in the team of the Army Museum in Białystok for 12 years. The author and coordinator of cultural and educational projects on the local history, aimed mainly at children and teenagers, as well as people with special needs. Coordinator of voluntary programmes based on know-how exchange.

Jan Wyspiański
A games aficionado, in all their forms. The chairman of the Johnny’s Playing Bialystok Foundation, which holds board games meetings that are extremely popular among the inhabitants of Białystok. He hosts the broadcast Game Cast, presenting a great number of news on games, technology and pop culture. A sociologist by education, a cognitivist by academic practice.
