This is an official death notice dated 7 April 1948, issued to Teresa Poraszko (daughter of the fallen Stefan Poraszko), resident in the village of Wincenta, Czerwone municipality, Łomża county. The document states that the late platoon sergeant Poraszka (misspelled “Poraszko”) fell on May 12, 1944 on the field of glory at Monte Cassino in defence of freedom and independence of Poland.
