Narracja historyczna zosta\u0142a oparta o historie jedenastu polskich \u017co\u0142nierzy, kt\u00f3rzy zaanga\u017cowali si\u0119 w pr\u00f3b\u0119 przej\u0119cie miasta w dniach 11-14 listopada 1918 r. Przedsi\u0119wzi\u0119cie zako\u0144czy\u0142o si\u0119 pora\u017ck\u0105, a miasto odzyska\u0142o niepodleg\u0142o\u015b\u0107 dopiero 19 lutego 1919 r. Historia ta jest \u015bwiadectwem niezwyk\u0142ego patriotyzmu polskich \u017co\u0142nierzy. Uwaga uczestnik\u00f3w skupia\u0142a si\u0119 na losach \u017co\u0142nierzy, a patriotyczna postawa bia\u0142ostockiej m\u0142odzie\u017cy podczas zrywu niepodleg\u0142o\u015bciowego wywar\u0142a na uczniach szczeg\u00f3lne wra\u017cenie. Szczeg\u00f3lnie bliskie uczestnikom by\u0142o przywo\u0142anie postaw bia\u0142ostockiej m\u0142odzie\u017cy gotowej walczy\u0107 o niepodleg\u0142o\u015b\u0107. Z uwagi na du\u017ce zainteresowanie, warsztaty \u201eO wolne miasto\u201d oraz \u201eOni i my\u201d zosta\u0142y w\u0142\u0105czone do sta\u0142ej oferty edukacyjnej Muzeum na rok szkolny 2022\/2023. Fina\u0142em projektu by\u0142y muzealne obchody Narodowego \u015awi\u0119ta Niepodleg\u0142o\u015bci \u2013 niemal 1500 os\u00f3b odwiedzi\u0142o wystaw\u0119 \u201e11-stu bohater\u00f3w\u201d i wzi\u0119\u0142o udzia\u0142 w wyk\u0142adach oraz warsztatach plastycznych.
